Was for me...
It rained the last two days...
That...has not happenened in...hmmm...pretty much...forever!...
It was not 115-120 degrees F where I work...
That has not happened in...hmmm...pretty much...forever!...
The thing about living where I do is you have two renewal seasons a year...
The first is before you are cooked...
The second is when you know that you will be cooked no more...
(Most people know these seasons as spring and fall)...
Rarely does the heat break this early in the year...
And rarely has it been more appreciated...
The BBQ and the beer were very good...
The steady drizzle of rain falling from a very cool sky was better!

Oh!..jeez...So you know this already!...Good for you!...
We say that we are many peoples gathered in a nation.
We say that we are one nation.
We are not now and never have been.
That has been our true history, and in my opinion our greatest strength.
We believe the things we say; because if we believe them, somehow…
‘We’ become closer as a people…
That’s alright with me.
That is democracy.
That is how it works.
It has little to do with government.
It has to be based on trust…
Trust your instincts folks…
And believe in what you really trust…
We are now a ‘Politically Correct People.’
We do not question our political leadership, because that would be helping the terrorists.
We do not question ourselves, because the day is only so long, there is only so much time…To think about all the ‘things’ we don’t have and want….or wanted at one time in our lives…or think we need…etc…
We really don’t have time to be creative unless we make time to be creative.
Make time!...
And never let anyone tell you that Iraq and The War On TERROR!...are the same thing…

Cat Proof Your Keyboard!...

Or as an alternative...Do what I do...
Step #1.
Threaten extreme violence...While looking cat square in the eye in best John Wayne voice...This never works, but it does help me to keep believing I am in charge!
Step #2.
Pour large amounts of treats in cat's dish, (cat knows you will do this if cat remains persistent)...
2.(b)...Cat knows when you are doing something really important and will therefore expect even more treats...
Step #3.
Cat overdoses on treats and passes out...
Step #4.
Repeat as needed...
Or as an alternative...Do what I do...
